Overview
The BBH Portal is an application that connects all BBH applications in a star-like system.
The goal
The goal was to establish a consistent user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) across all BBH applications. Additionally, since all applications needed to be accessible through the BBH Portal, it was necessary to design and implement "app tiles" that would display the most important data.
The design process
The goal was achieved by redesigning almost all of the BBH applications from scratch, utilizing a specific design system tailored for BBH. Each application received new workflows developed from UX research, along with an updated user interface based on this new design system. For applications that could not fully adopt the new design system, an interim design system was implemented to enhance visual consistency.
Final takeaway
I was in charge of the UX/UI design in applications, portal, and design system, which involved a substantial amount of work. However, I really enjoyed the transition from an outdated look and feel to a more modern UX/UI design.
