EasyHotel
EasyHotel is a comprehensive management tool designed to handle hotel operations, including guest services, staff management, activity logging, and maintenance.
Scope of Work
I participated in this project as a UX Researcher and UX Designer, analyzing staff workflows to understand their requirements while collaborating closely with the development team responsible for implementation.
Functionality
My primary objective was to design a flexible application built around a shared core module used by all roles, supplemented by dedicated, role-specific views.
This modular flexibility allows hotels to easily adapt the application to match their existing operational workflows.
For instance, front desk receptionists interact with a view tailored specifically to their tasks, while the maintenance crew operates on a layout built for service tracking.
Internal Communication
I designed a fully responsive interface focused heavily on streamlining communication across different shifts and departments.
Employees can instantly check who is currently on duty with them and seamlessly send messages or trigger direct calls when needed.
Outcome

Was this project a challenge? Absolutely. The biggest hurdle was driving user adoption—convincing hotel staff to abandon their deeply ingrained habit of logging everything in paper notebooks and transition to tablets and computers.

As a UX Designer, my goal wasn't just to replace one system with another, but to design meaningful improvements that made their daily workflows noticeably easier. By focusing on tangible value, the staff naturally embraced the digital solution on their own terms.

Furthermore, through thoughtful interface personalization, every employee could interact with the application in a way that best suited their individual comfort levels and operational habits.
